Dr. Wright Hartsell, FACEP FAAEM serves as medical director for REACH in the state of Texas. He is affiliated with Methodist Healthcare System in San Antonio as an emergency physician and Medical Director for its seven emergency departments. He serves as the South Texas Regional Advisory Council ED Operations Chair and serves on multiple committees impacting EMS Systems in the South Texas region.
Dr. Hartsell completed his residency in the Air Force after serving as a Flight Surgeon for a Tactical Fighter Squadron. He chaired the Wilford Hall USAF Medical Center Department of Emergency Medicine before entering his civilian career in 1992. He earned his medical degree and undergraduate education at Wake Forest University School of Medicine and Wake Forest University.
